CMC 50th Anniversary Celebration  by  CMC   2010/01/20/16:00:00
In 2010 the CMC will celebrate its 50th anniversary and we already have a full weekend of events planned. We anticipate many attendees whose involvement goes right back to the formation of the club.

Guest speakers, drinks, slide shows, cool free stuff, drinks, historical memorabilia, dancing, food, and good times. Mark it on your calendar now! Should be the biggest party of the last 50 years (and the next 49).

The event starts Friday evening June 18, 2010 and runs through to Sunday afternoon June 20.

Location - Mount Royal University

Accommodations - we are discussing rates with the university (MRU) for out of town attendees to stay in residence on campus (crawling distance from the events). In addition, we are collecting a list of volunteers willing to host an out-of town guest.

Sponsorships - if you are an individual or organization wishing to help sponsor the CMC 50th anniversary - please contact us!!

Do you know a previous CMC member that might not be on our mail list? Please let us know, and also forward this email on. While you're at it - forward on the "50 reasons to join the CMC" emails to any climbers you think might be interested.
